Bowling

Grab
a   ball
start to grin
when you knock
down all ten pens.

swing
your
arm,
let
the
ball
roll.
Making
a STRIKE
is
the
goal.

Do you know how to bowl?  Do you enjoy the sport?  I learned how to bowl from my mother who was quite a good bowler.  I once picked up the 7-10 spare and got a patch for my bowling shirt.  My high school had a bowling team and I was one of their better bowlers.  Can you write your own poem about bowling?

  1. Hi Joy,

A great concrete poem. Bowling is a lot of fun whether you're good at it or not. Everybody gets to participate too.

  2. Lanes are brown, Racks are grey
I hope I get a strike I can only prey,
That I will on this day be pronounced in first place.
Never doubt what you have in store, because one day you will do somthing no one has ever seen before,
In bowling you have two frames to make the ball do what ever you want it all depends, on how you work how you play just learn how to win the game!(:
